We also produce freshwater rainbow trout. Trout fry are sourced from the Pemberton Fish Hatchery operated by the Department of Fisheries, every September and are stocked into our  dams where they swim free without nets or cages.

 

Weekly harvesting begins in the autumn with plate size 300g fish and continues throughout the winter as they grow up to 2kg being harvested in late spring and early summer.
